A Bit of Our History
From our very humble beginnings we opened the doors of the very first Mister Steer Restaurant in 1958. It seated only nine at a time and was located at 351 Ste. Catherine Street West. Today we proudly offer a spacious 200 seat restaurant located at 1198 Ste. Catherine Street West. We owe our success to our famous 'Steerburger' which has won several awards throughout the years from both The Montreal Star, The Suburban and The Gazette. Our Steerburgers are made from the finest cuts of beef and our own special recipe. Mister Steer has become a local institution for Montrealers on the hunt for an original take on a familiar classic. We only use the freshest ingredients for our famous Steerburgers and this becomes evident from the very first bite. We offer many variations on the classic burger, and for those who prefer something different, our chicken and side dishes, will exceed your expectations. Old fashioned milkshakes, banana splits and lemon meringue pie will quickly zip you back to your sweet childhood memories of the corner soda bar.
